Janelle is an artist based in North Queensland.
After the birth of her four children, she decided to explore visual arts as part of her future and discovered that she loves three dimensional and textural work. She likens herself to a bowerbird, as the use of mixed media, recycling and repurposing to create sculptural pieces are an important part of her practice.
Her childhood, rich in intellectual stimulation, culture, spirituality, nature, and creative talent, holds a major influence over what drives and inspires her today.
