Capturing Clouds is my latest ‘artwork’, and it is one of my creative outlets, while much of my studio is packed away, ready for another move.

It all started on the 8th January 2014, not long after we moved into this house.  I love having a window in the kitchen, and while the back yard is not much to look at, there is an amazing view of the clouds.  They started capturing my attention, and before you know it, I realised that this view of the clouds wasn’t going to last forever.  I will be moving house again, sooner than later, and who knows what view I will have out my kitchen window, if I have a kitchen window that is!

I have just spent the last 12 months capturing special moments in time in the last house we were in, with light coming into the house at certain times lighting up certain objects, and numerous other things that I captured on my iPhone. This way of living, has influenced the way I am now, so it was natural that I capture these precious moments out my window, in this house too.

If you are not into clouds, then maybe you will think these photos are a little boring, however, I would encourage you to take notice of the differences that you see in each photo, from each day.  I hope you will be amazed at the diversity, as I have been, due to the different times of day and different weather patterns.  They are always taken through the same window everyday, although sometimes the angle will be slightly different, and they are unedited – no filters, colour enhancers or anything else.
